Environment Awards

The Richard Jones Memorial Awards are to commemorate the memory of Dr Richard Jones who was instrumental in forming the Tasmanian Environment Centre in 1972.

Richard Jones Memorial Prize for the best results in Environmental Science in the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (annual).
Richard Jones Memorial Media Award to recognise the contribution of those in the media who create public awareness of environmental matters (occasional).
